Richard Lee Stevenson
I came across Richard Lee Stevenson’s block prints and acid etchings whilst on holiday in St.Ives, Cornwall, many years ago. Somehow I managed to find myself in the STISA gallery (yet again!). It was one of those moments where you look at a piece of art and it speaks directly to you but the vividness of the colour lingers on way after. It was an acid etching of the curious Neolithic monument that is called Mên-An-Tol in Cornish.
What can I say other than Richard’s magic evokes the magic that is Cornwall.
